Fall Asleep by Sweeping Away Tinnitus: Moving Frequency Masking Therapy

Welcome to a unique tinnitus masking sound therapy session by AudioMan, specifically designed to help calm your mind, mask ringing ears, and guide you into deep sleep over the course of 1 hour.

🎧 How This Dynamic Frequency Sweep Works:
Most tinnitus maskers stay on a static pitch, but this audio file uses an evolving two-part masking technique combining high-grade pink noise and white noise:

1. The Moving Frequency Push (+8dB Bell EQ):
Over the hour, a subtle frequency boost gradually sweeps downward from 15,000 Hz (15 kHz) to 300 Hz, mostly affecting the white noise. As this gentle boost glides through the frequency spectrum, it intersects your personal tinnitus tone. By briefly matching and dwelling around your specific ear-ringing pitch, it draws your brain's auditory focus toward the sound and gently leads your subconscious away as it drifts downward.

2. The "Sleep Broom" (Dynamic High-Cut Filter):
Trailing just 1 kHz behind the moving EQ boost is a smooth, continuous high-pass/cut-off filter. This gradually rolls off the brighter high-end noise, softening the entire soundscape minute by minute. The audio naturally dims and darkens as you relax, replicating the natural feeling of drifting off into quiet, restful sleep.

⏱ Frequency Sweep Timeline:
0:00 – 15 kHz (Very High Pitch)
5:23 – 10 kHz
9:22 – 8 kHz
13:14 – 6 kHz
20:16 – 4 kHz
25:10 – 3 kHz
30:00 – 2 kHz (Mid-Range)
40:00 – 1 kHz
43:33 – 800 Hz
50:18 – 500 Hz
54:36 – 400 Hz
60:00 – 300 Hz (Deep, Warm Low End)

You may find benefit from your tinnitus frequency also being targeted a second time within the session, at lower Hz as the frequency push will pass again an octave lower. (the same 'note' but lower sounding, in musical terms).

💡 How to Listen:
• Use stereo headphones or bedside speakers at a comfortable, safe low volume.
• Do not set the volume higher than your tinnitus; set it so the noise blends gently with your internal ringing.
• Lie back, breathe deeply, and allow your hearing to follow the downward drift.
