Notch Filter White Noise for Tinnitus MaskingNotch Filter White Noise specific frequencies removed

These tinnitus masking audio files have a filter applied which cuts out specific frequencies. Created in our studio using white noise across the complete sound range but with a steep slope applied either side of the target eq region, cutting out an 'audio notch'.
I've created 170 files covering from 550Hz to 8000Hz in 50Hz increments, so it may be worth trying the tone generator to see if you can identify your tinnitus frequency, then preview files on this page within 400Hz or so.

Preview samples below. Listen at a low volume, remember you are not 'blasting out' or 'covering up' the tinnitus. There will be a 'mix-point' (often very quiet) where the audio can possibly cancel out the ringing in your ears. It's worth trying a variety of sounds and waveforms to see what suits you best.
